We met in Cape Town in a shared student house. Though we studied very different things back then, physics and environmental science, we were brought together by music, and our love for making music. We formed a band with our friends, scraping together half-broken instruments from around the house, including a keyboard that died during practice, and a soprano ukulele that never stayed in tune.
Music remains a constant in the life we share now, and our instrument of choice is the little mighty ukulele. At the same time, we are also a music theory geek and a coder — putting the two together, we gain a new ability to create tools that make playing ukulele easier. And we want to share what we have made with other uke players out there.
